Here is the statement for my part of the project

I have been concerned with climate issues since I learned about it in high school in the 70s. We talked about pollution and destroyed ecosystems. But we were not aware of how extensive the problems with theenvironment would be in the coming years, nor how quickly it would happen.
I am of the opinion that most environmental issues can only be solved by political action. We cannot
demand that people take the train instead of the plane if it is twice as expensive. We cannot demand that farmers not use pesticides to increase production as long as the authorities allow them to spray with poison.
But there are things we can do as individuals. Preventing food waste is one of them. We can all make sure we don’t buy more than we use. That we appreciate the food and take care of it.

But how should I translate this into an artistic expression? I decided to be as direct as I could: To
appreciate the food, is also to enjoy its beauty. So I have taken vegetables and fruits and seeds, mostly from my kitchen garden i Denmark, I have cut (most of) them, and printed them directly into the wet clay.
In this direct way you can see and enjoy the beauty of the shapes and the structures of the food. But to be even more direct, I have added letters, to make the message clear: Waste no food.
